Lorraine Music Academy and LAMP Trust organised, ‘A Musical Evening Heralding the Christmas Season – Come India Sing a Christmas Carol’ on Sunday at the Epicentre. Participants aged 4 to 25 years sang traditional Christmas carols like Jingle Bells, Joy to the World, among others.
8-year old Rishaan Bhatnagar, a student of the academy, sang Silent Night in German which was followed by an English rendition of the song by the founder of the academy, Aubrey Aloysius. The showstopper was ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ conducted by Lorraine Fiona Aloysius.
This concert was held to raise resources for the ‘Come India Sing’ series of nation building methods using music as a tool.
